Black-Owned Restaurants In Long Island
I grew up in the suburbs, but with a city girl heart. Shout out to Long Island! When people ask me where to eat in L.I., I give a blank look. lol The reason why is I am never in L.I. and my experiences of being in NYC has helped me venture during my journey. With that being said, I did take the opportunity to review some Black-owened businesses in Long Island. Please read more below on my review.
Restaurant Week in NYC 2023
Back in January, I had a chance to check out NYC Restaurant Week, but I am a tad bit late in sending this. Life has been lifing. I was able to check out a few restaurants between Manhattan and Brooklyn. Lagos TSQ, Jasmine's Caribbean Cuisine and BLVD Bistro are all Black-owned businesses. I enjoyed all my meals at each location. I go into detail about each restaurant below!
Where To Eat In Pasadena?
As many times as I’ve been to L.A., I’ve never been to Pasadena. The one time that I do go, it was snowing and raining the entire time. Yes, you read that correctly. I went to Cali during a snowstorm. Allegedly, it hadn’t snowed since 1989 and I felt like I was in some type of vortex.
