Where to Eat in Cape Cod & Oak Bluffs: A Food Lover’s Guide
If there’s one thing I’ve learned about visiting Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard, it’s that you should come hungry.
Between fresh seafood, lobster rolls, clam chowder, waterfront restaurants, cozy cafés and everything in between, eating is a major part of the experience.
Whether you’re planning a weekend on Cape Cod or hopping over to Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, here are some spots to add to your food itinerary.
CAPE COD
Cape Cod is synonymous with seafood—and for good reason. From casual clam shacks to waterfront restaurants and elevated dining rooms, the Cape offers plenty of ways to experience the region’s seafood culture.

OAK BLUFFS, MARTHA'S VINEYARD
After exploring Cape Cod, take the ferry over to Martha's Vineyard and make your way to Oak Bluffs.
One of my favorite things about traveling is discovering a destination through its food.
Cape Cod and Oak Bluffs make that especially easy.
You can spend the morning grabbing coffee, have a lobster roll for lunch, stop for oysters by the water, explore the shops and beaches, and finish the evening with an elevated dinner and cocktails.
That's my kind of itinerary.
Come for the beaches. Stay for the food.
And whatever you do, don't leave Cape Cod or Oak Bluffs without having at least one lobster roll.
