48 Hours in Miami- Brickell

Brickell is the city's financial center, where glittering business towers and luxury condos tower over Biscayne Bay. Rooftop bars and surf 'n' turf grills cater to the banking and business crowd, while the art galleries and fashionable boutiques in the Brickell City Centre attract chic locals. The Brickell Avenue Bridge spans the Miami River and has views of the waterfront Miami Circle park and archaeological.

This was probably one of the quickest trips to Miami I’ve ever taken, but this time, I went to Brickell.

I would suggest this area if you’re not a South Beach kinda person. It was just a different vibe. It was more slow paced and less chaotic.

Here’s how I spent 48 hours in Brickell as I enjoyed my hotel and ate some good food!

Citizen M Hotel is an upscale and high tech hotel located right on the Brickell strip. It is just a 3-minute walk to the Brickell Metrorail station, 25 minute drive to South Beach and 25 minute drive to the airport.

Bacon Bitch is located at Bayside Marketplace which has a cute mall near the cruise ports. When you walk in you’re being greeted with the iconic “Hey Bitch!” I know that sounds crazy, but brunch was a lot of fun here. Don’t go here if you don’t like bacon!

Moxies Miami Brickell is a modern, chic and contemporary dining experience with a wrap-around covered patio. Located in the heart of Brickell at Mary Brickell Village, on the corner of S. Miami and 9th Ave. This is literally across the street from Citizen M hotel. I had the steak bites and a lemon drop. This is right on the strip and there are several restaurants in the area that provide the same type of vibes.

One K Raw is a super cute patio restaurant that also has indoor seating as well. This is also located across the street from Citizen M Hotel. They have a s speakeasy offers exclusive DJ sets, live music, tantalizing libations, Late Happy Hour, Ladies' Night on the weekends. All of the food and drinks I had was so good. I tried the Tuna Tar Tar, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Oysters and Crispy Octopus. For drinks, I had Farm to Shaker.
