Bergamo is a town outside of Milan and you can take the metro to get to and from the city. This was the same year that Milan held the World Expo as well which gave me even more of a reason to go visit.
One of the hottest events to kick off last summer was the 12th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. This highly anticipated soiree was filled with so much melanin and it was a fashion show you didn’t want to miss! The crowd of #blackexcellence, #blackgirlmagic, and #blackboyjoy was in attendance.
As we sit still during this pandemic, I have realized that I go to D.C. often and never write about some of my favorite places to eat. Of course, I had to focus on Black owned businesses. It’s only right. Check out some of my favorite spots to dine at. You should check them out as soon as outside opens back up!
