This past Labor Day weekend was filled with sunshine and good vibes! Martha’s Vineyard did not disappoint, yet again. It’s become a tradition to go each year now. Each year, I discover more places to blog about as well. As I mentioned in my Black- Owned Businesses in Boston and Martha's Vineyard post, I try to explore Black-owned businesses wherever I go and that is why that blog needed it’s own separate post.
I decided that I was going to curate an Insecure Tour. Doing all the things that Issa Rae does, where she shot her show and where her businesses reside. This was a combination of supporting Black-owned businesses and exploring Inglewood in general.
I wanted to share some of my favorite places to dine at in Brooklyn. A lot of them are Carribean restaurants. Rightfully so, since that is my background and I always want to support. These eateries hold a special place in my heart because the service and food have been amazing.
