I felt that it was important to support Black owned businesses because we need to support our own. Entrepreneurship is thriving in the Black community and if we don’t celebrate each other, then who will? Check out some of the places that I went to while I was in Vegas!
That One Time I Went To Essence Festival On A Budget
I had been to NOLA before for National Urban League Conference, but the vibe at Essence Fest was something different. It was truly a reunion with people from all walks of life that came together for the one event that can possibly change their lives. I grew up reading Essence and very aware of what the magazine brings to our community.
Memories of Malaysia
We spent 3 days in Malaysia eating, exploring, partying, and eating again. lol It was a mini Manhattan filled with crowded streets of tourists and locals trying to make it day by day. The hustle of people in this city was interesting to see. As far any place I go, I am the biggest “people watcher.” Sometimes you have to take it all in in silence because if you don’t, then you will truly miss out on the ambiance.
