Black Restaurant Week NYC was from November 11 to November 22. To achieve its mission of growth in the culinary industry, Black Restaurant Week aims to create experiences that will cater to a diverse culture of tastemakers, professionals and area foodies looking for exposure to delicious food and exquisite wines.
Porta Jersey City
Porta Jersey City serves seasonal brunch, lunch, dinner, and late night menus. This location is very popular and known for the best pizza in New Jersey, as well as weddings, private events, and nightlife, located one block from the Grove Street PATH station.
Harbes Family Farm
We ventured out east of Long Island to Harbes Family Farm for the day. They have more than one location dedicated to everyone in the family which is pretty awesome. It is advised to go early because there is so much to do from apple/pumpkin picking, to wine tasting, to the spooky night cornmaze.
