I spent the last weekend of September with the lovely ladies of the Curly Girl Collective . They brought CurlFest to Atlanta, Georgia for the first time. The festival has been held in New York City for the last six years, but it was time for the brand to expand. CurlFest is a celebration of curls, coils, and culture, wrapped up in positive energy and Black girl magic.

How To Get to Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend

There are several ways of getting to these destinations, but I feel like traveling to Las Vegas and then taking a tour is a lot easier. The airport in Page doesn’t have a lot of flights that come in and out and you still have to drive to get to the locations. I would recommend a bus tour to make life easier. As we move along with my Black-owned business tour, I took a weekend trip to Boston and Martha’s Vineyard. I’ve been to Boston before as a teenager and I thought it would be a good idea to go back and see what it was like as an adult.
